2020 Water Environment Governance Forum successfully held in Nanjing

Strengthen the protection of urban drinking water sources, develop low-carbon, efficient, safe and durable water purification technology, and organically combine pre oxidation, deep oxidation, adsorption, biological and membrane to achieve economic, efficient and safe water purification effect. Academician Wu Minghong said:In China, refractory organic pollutants pose a serious threat to the ecological environment and human health. Effective remediation and risk control are urgently needed. The treatment of organic compound pollution is facing major challenges. How to achieve efficient treatment of organic compound pollution? High performance environmental functional material graphene is needed, which is the key technology to develop organic composite pollution control functional materials. The discovery of graphene also won the Nobel Prize. Carbon based composite materials with high adsorption, high selectivity and high catalytic activity have made breakthroughs in engineering application in the treatment of refractory organic wastewater, zero discharge and resource utilization of high salt organic wastewater.
